Adele is nominated in six categories in this year’s Grammy Awards and she’ll not miss it for the world. Indeed, the Brit music sensation will be making her first public appearance on music’s biggest night two months after her surgery.
Adele underwent throat surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal chord, and this is when Adele returns to the stage for the first time since canceling her North American tour.
Adele tweeted, “Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait.”
In statement, she further says, “For it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-wracking. But what a way to get back into it all.”
Many believe that Adele’s name will be called after the drum roll for record of the year and song of the year. Let’s see if her fans are right on February 12.
