Are you a Gleek? Then you’ll be glad to know that your favorite television series will soon be coming to the big screen. Yes, 20th Century Fox has just confirmed that they’re now in production for the movie, Glee! Live! 3-D!.
The studio announced the news Wednesday and said that this will be a Glee 3D movie which documents the North American tour of the Glee cast which is scheduled to start in August.
The movie is trying to bank on the previous success of reality-based concert films that we’ve seen from Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” and Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never”. And this time, “Glee! Live! 3-D!” is being directed by Kevin Tancharoen.
Who will be in this movie? Of course the whole Glee cast members: Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam), Darren Criss (Blaine) and Ashley Fink (Lauren).
Where is Mr. Schuester? Well, Matthew Morrison would probably be busy promoting his upcoming solo album. However, he may have a few scenes in the movie here and there. And the same goes out to Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester).
