Night-Vision Goggle Sales Weaken

Flir Systems Inc reported this week that their sales haven’t been up to par with their usual volume, due to the cut in Federal spending that the government has been doing in recent months.

The maker of products such as camera mask says that their sales demand has slid more than 10% in the first quarter of the year.

Likewise, other defense-oriented firms are experiencing a loss in sales momentum. Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Rockwell Collins have reported red marks on their accounting due to budget cuts in the US defense programs.
