Packers Opens Win A Victory

The Green Bay Packers got a 42-34 victory for this year’s NFL opener Thursday by stopping New Orleans running back Mark Ingram during the last effort play.

Aaron Rodgers walked the night away with a win, thanks to Green Bay’s strong offensive plays.

It was also a good game for Cobb, scoring a 32-yard touchdown reception during the end of the first quarter. Furthermore, Cobb gave another play during the fourth quarter when he almost got free during a punt return, only to trip at midfield.

This is the eighth consecutive year that the defending Super Bowl champion has played host for the season opener. And each time, the home team has emerged victorious.
