Phil Mickelson proved his one of the best out there with an excellent eight-under-par 64 performance at the Scottish Open second round, and thus bringing him five shots away from the top stop last Friday.
Four-times major winner, Mickelson showed signs of strength with an opening eagle in the first hole and went on to score in an outstanding fashion for the rest of the round.
No one knows exactly how he celebrated the day after, maybe he bought some custom golf balls at GolfBox.com – or just watched television. But in any case, he shares in an interview:
“I’m really glad I added the tournament and it’s very helpful to see my game progress so quickly,” Mickelson narrates, talking about his last minute decision to join the golf open.
“In fact, when I was thinking about adding this tournament, after missing the cut last week, my wife Amy and I thought simultaneously of the same decision, so I am very lucky.”
