Apple has finally confirmed that the company will be delivering their long-delayed white iPhone 4 on April 28, Thursday. The smartphone will be available in the US and 27 other countries including Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and the UK.
The new iPhone 4 will be selling at $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB and will come with a two-year service contract. In a statement, Apple’s head for marketing, Philip Schiller says, “The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful. We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”
Of all the countries where the white iPhone 4 is going to be released, many say that the biggest sales will be in China and Japan, saying that the white color will appeal the most to the Asian market.
Those who are thinking of buying the device can check out the various authorized retail stores and online stores for availability. But AT&T and Verizon outlets will be offering them also by Thursday.
